A Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) is a small business that is 51% unconditionally owned and controlled by a Service-Disabled Veteran.
Benefits: The federal government's goal is to award at least three percent of all federal contracting dollars to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses each year.
Contracting sets aside contracts / opportunities for companies considered SDVOSB as priority. Veterans First Contracting Program (VETS First): The Department of Veterans Affairs has established the only program that gives first priority to Veterans and Veteran Business Owners. The VA is one of the largest federal procurement organizations, awarding billions of dollars to Veteran owned small businesses each year.

On June 21, 2018, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in favor of the state in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. The decision allows states to tax out-of-state sellers sales and use tax based on the customers ship-to location. Now economic nexus is based entirely on sale revenue, invoice volume, or both. After the ruling VHSS made it their mission to become sales tax compliant. Currently, we are registered in 46 States as a Remote Seller and continue to monitor the ongoing sales tax laws. Please acknowledge that VHSS is authorized to ship to all federal government agencies and DOD locations worldwide. The below states ONLY indicate Business registration for sales tax collection obligation of economic nexus activity.
