Contracting sets aside contracts / opportunities for companies considered SDVOSB as priority. On June 21, 2018, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in favor of the state in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. The decision allows states to tax out-of-state sellers sales and use tax based on the customers ship-to location. Now economic nexus is based entirely on sale revenue, invoice volume, or both. After the ruling VHSS made it their mission to become sales tax compliant. Currently, we are registered in 46 States as a Remote Seller and continue to monitor the ongoing sales tax laws. Please acknowledge that VHSS is authorized to ship to all federal government agencies and DOD locations worldwide. The below states ONLY indicate Business registration for sales tax collection obligation of economic nexus activity.
